Everyone, meet Stella! This 15 pound little firecracker was turned in to us because her owners no longer had time to care for her. This sweet 4 year old is full of energy, and daily exercise is a MUST! She does fine with other small dogs with slow introductions, but she will be happy as an only dog, too. She had been known to guard her stuff, including her human, but we have not seen any of that behavior here. She will need an experienced handler who is familiar with resource guarding. She will need some training, but is very smart and well on her way. She is potty trained, kennel trained, and doggie door trained. She is healing from her spay and should be ready to go to her forever home soon!
