Bert had spent his life outside in a kennel all day.  A neighbor sensitive to his neglect offered to give him an indoor home.  He was happy with his new life, but the resident dogs were not so welcoming to have a new guy move in.  It was decided AzBTR would have resources to find Bert his new, forever home.  

We’ve come to learn Bert is a wonderful, sweet boy, who does not let being blind slow him down. Once he learns his way around the house, which has taken about 2 – 3 weeks, he goes to the door to signal he needs to go out. Still, a home with minimal stairs would make this little guy’s life much easier, not to mention a pool fence or no pool at all. Like many other Bostons, Bert is no stranger to allergies. His foster home has Bermuda grass coming in, which has increased Bert’s sensitivity. He’s currently on vet-approved generic Claritin for now.
