- JIGGS came to us via AHS here in the valley.  He was an unclaimed stray.  Due to his grade III luxating patella he was only allowed to go to a rescue that could finance his surgery.  AHS has done the x-rays and will transfer them to our rescue Vet that will be doing the surgery this week!  After a suitable recovery and rehabilitation period he will be thinking of where he is going to go next.  He's happily joined in a foster home with a Dobie, and Golden and a Pug, along with two kitties.  He's more curious about the cat food than the cats but he is learning he can't reach it.  Jiggs wants to thank all those who helped AZBTR be able to pay for his upcoming surgery!  update:  The Vet felt Jigg's knee was only a grade 2 and surgery would not provide enough benefit to outweigh the risks.  Jiggs found his forever home with his foster family!
