Dexter is a three year old Male Boston Terrier who is ridiculously adorable, incredibly sweet, highly intelligent and loving. Dexter is a sensitive guy who can be a little shy when meeting new humans, so he prefers said humans bring treats:)  Once he meets you, you've got a friend for life and he prefers to be told exactly what the house rules are because he loves making his humans happy.  He is crate trained, potty trained, walks like a gentleman on the leash and has awesome basic obedience skills. Dexter currently lives with canine foster siblings and is doing great learning the ropes on how this whole "playing with others" thing works. He adores a good game of tug or fetch, enjoys treat filled Kongs and of course, cuddle time!  Sometimes Dexter gets super excited and can't quite remember the rules (like no jumping) so we think he would do best in a home with no children or older children so he doesn't accidentally knock someone over. He has made friends with every canine he's met so far, but as usual, if you have a four-legger at home, we would love to make sure everyone makes friends. Dexter is an absolute sweetheart who would make the perfect “furever” best friend.
