****ADOPTION PENDING****-Snicklefritz- came to AZBTR due to his owners pending move. This little guy has a lot of nicknames!  He's answering to "Snicks, Snickles, Fritz or Snicklefritz, " and enjoying life at his foster home with a young BT girl to keep him busy.  He's learned how to go up and down stairs and is very affectionate.   He has seen the vet and has been given the green light!  He has had a history of mild allergies and will need his ears cleaned on a regular basis to keep him comfortable and happy. Here is what his foster dad has learned about him.

He doesn't generally play with toys or chew on bones.  He does love treats and wrestling with his foster sister and play keep away with her toys.  He is extremely wary of dogs he doesn't know when he first meets them, especially if they are larger than him.  

Once he has met them and feels comfortable he is fine. Snicks does try to dominate in an obsessively compulsive manner with female dogs.  He loves to reach up to you for a petting if your sitting or standing but will also lay down at your feet if your busy. He loves attention and will always curl up in your lap while you watch TV. His favorite place is your chair when your not sitting in it.

Snickles loves! to go for walks. He enjoys putting on his harness and understands he‘s going for his walk. Snicks is calm, respectful and very approachable to strangers following your body language and can easily ignore them if your only walking by.  He is calm and tolerant with his showers and enjoys being dried off in a fluffy towel.  He is good with cleaning his ears and brushing his teeth. Snicks has just a little separation anxiety. It is actually very very mild. He will cry a little when you leave without him and he is not destructible at all.

His verbal commands are quite minimal. He does know “come here” and “no”.
