AZBTR was notified by the Chino Valley Animal Hosptial that they had a little female BT that had been hit by a car and had two broken back legs needing surgery. Could AZBTR help? Chino Valley did the leg surgery and AZBTR picked her up and brought her to Tempe for recovery in foster care. It has been a very long road for Daisy with all the pins and plates in her legs to help them heal. Finally Daisy's "hardware" has been removed and she is ready for her new home. She does well around other dogs after a slow introduction, however she is very possessive of her food. She is a tiny little thing at only 14 lbs. She may be small but she is QUITE the little diva! I've been told that if she doesn't get her way she will wimper and stamp her front paws in frustration! A BT tantrum? AZBTR thinks that they have found the perfect home for Daisy and she will start her new life right before Thanksgiving. Daisy is now living in Tucson with her new mom and dad, who are very experienced Boston Terrier owners. They are teaching her how to be a proper young lady and get along with the kitty cat in the family.
