Angel is a 5 year old female that was turned into AZBTR when her owner could not afford medical treatment for her. She was purchased from TX as a breeder dog until it was discovered that she had Pyometra, an infected uterus. This is a very serious condition that can be fatal if not treated right away. We had her spayed and had all infection removed only to find out she is Heartworm positive. Angel will under go heartworm treatment in her foster home and then will be ready for adoption. Angel gets along with some dogs and not others. We do not know why. In her foster home she likes one female BT but dislikes the other. For this reason we feel that Angel would do better as an only child. She will bond very tightly to her person, as we have seen with her foster mom. She just really wants to be loved and she is a BEAUTIFUL girl. She has spent her life as a breeder and we think she deserves to just be spoiled for the remainder of her days. Angel has gone to her new home and she is just soaking up the love being the only child in her family. She is still restricted to bedrest and no play while she is healing. She has a great new friend who visits often. His name is "Udo" and he is as rescued Greyhound. They just adore each other and love to nap together on the couch.
