Sir Charlie is a handsome, curious, and energetic 7 year old gentleman with the cutest of googlie eyes that you will fall in love with at first sight!! He came to us when a good samaritan found and surrendered him to the local shelter. Apparently he was on his own for quite some time as he's had a lot of weight to gain & ears that needed TLC.

Sir Charlie is an active, playful, snuggly, and inquisitive soul who LOVES spending time with his human and canine companions. He will do best in a home that has the time and energy to actively provide him with consistent guidance. Sir Charlie is an absolute sweetheart and a very good boy who thrives when given structure and clear expectations. For this reason, a home with older, considerate children or no children would be best. Sir Charlie is potty trained and knows how to use a doggie door. We believe he was sadly confined for long periods of time in a small crate outdoors and so he does get anxious in a crate and would require patience with crate training.

Sir Charlie has been making WONDERFUL progress in his foster home and is quite the show off when playing with toys. He loves being with his two canine foster mates and is learning great manners from them. He is not a runner, but would follow another dog outside if given the chance as he's naturally curious.

Cuddling is Sir Charlie's middle name and he wants to give you all of his love and adoration! He would love to be a best friend and affectionate lap dog if allowed. He has an adorable face, exuberant personality, and is just waiting for an attentive, loving, and caring furever home to continue to learn, play, and enjoy LOTS of walks to exert his boundless energy. Anyone fortunate enough to adopt Sir Charlie will be enveloped in endless love and companionship!
