Greta VonTeef's came into the rescue very frightened as a stray.  It was clear she had not been exposed to a lot of human interaction in her past life.  Yet she is such a gentle and sweet soul who you can tell has been through a lot.  It will take a special person with patience and gentleness for her to bloom from her shell.  She is in love with her foster dad and follows him everywhere with her favorite stuffy toy in her mouth.  Greta likes to go for walks and protects her backyard from those scary birds.  She is potty and crate-trained and prefers her crate at night.   We are looking for a calm, quiet home where she can spend her days with her forever family.  She will need to be introduced to potential friends, (human and furry) very slowly. She prefers to be the one who initiates until she feels comfortable with you. Once she feels comfortable she will be your life companion.
