Ruthie was a very insecure and timid dog upon intake but is making very good progress with her foster mom. She has become adept with the doggie door and starting to look for attention from foster. She seems to be curious and enjoys looking out the window to see what's happening outside. She will need some time to decompress and gain some self confidence without boisterous children in the family. She does exhibit some scars on her back from a previous trauma. YEAAA! Ruthie has come out of her shell and doing amazing well in her foster home! She wants attention from her foster mom & dog and allowed a man to handle her with ease today. Ruthie is happy to lay at her foster moms feet while mom is working during the day. She prefers a home with a companion dog to play with and quiet environment in her home. Her coat is bright and shiny and her foster mom says she's a "love". Ruthie would love to be your best friend.
