Rocky is a 9+ year old dog pulled from the Maricopa County shelter. Our primary care vet determined by x-ray he had a rock in his stomach that was endoscopically removed along with other debris that he picked up while he was stray. Rocky is a sweet old man who loves to follow you around. He is very friendly and will let you pick him up and love on him for a short period of time but he would rather be on the floor. He acts as though he was never allowed up on furniture so he's not a "lap dog". He will sleep on the bed with you but would rather sleep on the floor or under the bed. He's great on a leash and loves, loves, loves his walks. Rocky is being fostered with another very senior blind and deaf Boston Terrier and he "co-exists" with her around. He is not dog aggressive, but he would require a slow introduction and would probably not do well if you have larger or very active dog that intrudes on his personal space. In addition to removing the rock and debris, we have followed up with a major dental to remove rotten teeth as well as a grade 2 mass on his right front leg. Rocky needs your love and would love to hang around you in your home so please consider him if you have a soft spot for senior Bostons!
