AZBTR was contacted by Maricopa County to foster Lucy, a five year old Boston Terrier who was at the shelter with a ruptured eye.  We took Lucy to the vet, and then to the veterinary opthomologist who told us that the eye could not be saved.  Lucy recovered well from her eye removal surgery and was placed in a foster home where she was adopted!
