Barbara (her given name although she prefers Babs or Babbie) is 12 years old. She still perks up when it's time for a walk. So enthusiastic is she that she will jump as high as two feet straight up. She doesn't always stick the landing but it does show she's good and ready for some exercise. She's good on leash, keeps her head when strange dogs pass by. She's good with other dogs, sliding right into her foster pack after a few days but it she would be just as fine as an only dog, which she was most of her life prior to coming into rescue. She is not tested around cats or ambulatory children; she is not thrilled with babies and toddlers. She was given a clean bill of health by the vet although she does have cataracts that affect her vision. She is a healthy girl despite this. Her personality is friendly without the need to be right by your side. She is often found napping in her crate.
