Duncan, our adorable 3 yr. old boy, is a 20 lb. bundle of joy. He was surrendered to rescue because he was retreating to his crate to spend all of his time. Another dog entered the home and required quite a bit of medical care. Owner only wanted to see Duncan enjoying life as he was not happy in the home any longer. The change in environment to his foster home has been very good. He is active, curious, and showing interest in other pups, all the humans, and the home. Duncan is crate trained, potty trained, rides well in a car and loves to go on walks, and is not a barker. Although he gets along with other dogs, pups that play hard do scare him. He must have a quieter home where the owners understand this delicate balance of building trust, helping him gain confidence, yet putting some basic structure in place so that Duncan understands and feels comfortable with the expectations of the home
