-Kiwi came to us because she tested positive for heartworm in her previous residence and they were unable to afford the expensive treatment this will entail.  We had her tested and it came back negative however we are getting a second opinion this week because we don't want to take any chances.  She is a sweet girl that gets along with other dogs and people.   Kiwi adjusted well to a house full of bigger and smaller dogs, she is friendly and likes to play. She picks up cues from the other dogs and knows when it's ok to wrestle or share a toy and when to mind her own business and do her own thing.  She is still working on her house training as its a new environmnt but she is a quick learner.
